Adolescent Counselling

"Would you like someone to talk to?"

Do you sometimes find it hard to talk to your family and/or friends? Do you feel that you are alone? Is something bothering you at school or at home? Do you feel that your parents do not understand you? Do you feel down? Do you feel stressed or anxious? Are you being bullied? Do you have low self-esteem?

Most of the time we can talk to our friends or our family about our problems. However sometimes it is not possible, and this is when you might need to meet a counsellor. Coming to see a counsellor helps because they are independent from home and school life.

Many young people come to counselling to talk about a specific problem, and to learn a little more about themselves, or simply for someone to talk to about what is going on in their lives.
